Federico Braguglia
Managing Director
Advanced Capital GroupFederico Braguglia is Managing Director at Advanced Capital SGR, primarily focusing on investment consulting for leading institutional investors and Private Equity investment activity in relation to PE funds, co-investments and direct transactions.
From 2001 to 2007 Federico developed his high level investment expertise with McKinsey’s Corporate Finance Practice, dealing with leading financial institutions, Private Equity funds and large industrial companies in the growth and M&A areas.
From 1997 to 2000 Federico worked in the Corporate Finance Advisory Division of HSBC Investment Banking in London where, as Associate Director, he managed multiple Financial Advisory, M&A and IPO deals for small and medium-sized industrial companies in Europe, with specific focus on the Italian market.
He started his professional career as an economist with Istituto Mobiliare Italiano in Rome in 1993.
Federico received a degree in Economics and Business at the Luiss University in Rome and an MBA in Finance at the London Business School in 1996. -
Patrizia Cesareo
Chief Financial Officer
Advanced Capital GroupPatrizia Cesareo entered the Advanced Capital team in September 2010 and currently holds the position of Chief Financial Officer. She coordinates and oversees all administrative activities related to the SGR, the management of private equity funds and subscribers. Patrizia also manages AC’s relationships with regulatory institutions.
Patricia has 25 years of investment experience, initially in several securities firms (SIM) and later in asset management companies (SGR). In this time she consolidated her knowledge of the administration of assets under management and investment funds securities, and gained extensive practical experience of working with supervisory bodies including the Bank of Italy, Consob and UIC.
Prior to joining the company, Patrizia worked for Schroders group, holding whit the position of CFO and Head of Human Resources of Schroders Italy SIM pa.
Previously she had worked in various hedge funds, including Hedge Invest SGR.p.a and Unifortune SGR.p.a.

Seth M. Lieberman
CIO Real Estate
Seth Lieberman is Chief Investment Officer for AC Private Equity Real Estate as well as Vice-Chairman and Treasurer of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), United Kingdom Executive Committee and Vice-Chairman of the ULI Europe Steering Committee.
Until recently, Mr Lieberman was a Managing Director of Real Estate Finance EMEA at UBS Investment Bank (“UBS REF”) and member of the UBS REF EMEA & APAC Commitment Committees. Seth has 26 years of real estate industry experience, in the U.S. and in Europe. Seth has spent the last 16 years of his career in Europe and provided debt and equity capital for European property transactions totalling in excess of €8 billion in 8 countries.
Prior to UBS, Seth was a Joint Managing Director of Hypo Real Estate Investment Banking Limited for several years and prior to Hypo, Seth was an Executive Director of the Global Real Estate Finance Group of Lehman Brothers. Seth’s experience ranges from international business development, equity investments, mezzanine debt and senior loan origination and structuring to asset management and workout of non-performing loans and REO portfolios.
In the late 1990s, Seth was a Principal of the Praedium Funds, a group of opportunistic property investment funds associated with Credit Suisse First Boston (“CSFB”). During his tenure at CSFB/Praedium he completed a number of U.S. and European real estate investments. Seth joined CSFB in 1998 from General Electric Capital Corporation (“GECC”), where he founded, developed and executed the business plan for property lending & investments in the Nordic Region.
Seth earned a B.A. in Economics (Cum Laude) from Tufts University and was a member of Omicron Delta Epsilon, International Economics Honor Society. Mr. Lieberman is FSA authorized and completed Chemical Bank Credit Training in 1984.

Marco Bianchi Milella
Special Advisor
Marco Milella is Senior Advisor of Advanced Capital for the Business Development activities. He also support fundraising activities and works closely with the CEO in defining the group’s strategies.
He is currently on the advisory board of Value Partners Strategy Consultants and advisor of the Italian Government.Marco Milella’s professional career has worked on multiple venture capital, special assignment and business development projects with international focus (US, Far East, and South America).
Over the years he has acted as a manager for major corporations (e.g. Fiat Group) and as a consultant( with Ernst & Young and Value Partners).
Mr. Milella holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Andrea Mazzaferro

Advanced Capital GroupAndrea Mazzaferro joined Advanced Capital in May 2008 and is currently Vice President in the Investment
Department. He is responsible for the sourcing, screening, analysis and due diligence of private equity
funds and secondary investments as well as co-investment and direct opportunities.He has 8 years of Private Equity and Investment Banking experience, having worked at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and previously at E Capital Partners (Mittel Group) mainly on Private Equity transactions focusing on
Healthcare, Aerospace & Defense, High-Tech, Consumer and Real Estate industries.Andrea started his career at General Electric as part of the Financial Management Program where he
gained a global experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Commercial Finance and Supply Chain mainly
based in the UK and Italy.He received his BA in Institutions and Financial Markets Management, summa cum laude, from Bocconi
University and attended an international finance program at Strathclyde University in Glasgow. -
Ida Mazzola
Investor Relations
Advanced Capital GroupIda joined AC in 2007 and is responsible for Investor Relations and Corporate Communication at the Firm.
Prior to joining the firm, Ida worked at Verini&Associati, an independent group specializing in Corporate and Financial Communications.
Her prior experiences also include internship in Gottex Sim (Milan) and Gottex Fund Management in London.
Ida holds a BA in Economics and Finance from the Università Cattolica in Milan. Ida speaks French and Italian natively and is fluent in English.
